ITALIANO

Siamo onorati di far parte dello Housmans World Peace Database.

INGLESE

We are glad to communicate that our Association Memoria Condivisa has been included in the Housmans World Peace Database, an international and authoritative listing of the main peace and anti-violence organizations around the world. It is the most comprehensive and up-to-date database of its kind, the updating of which relies on the co-operation of many of the groups included in it. It is intended as a useful support to campaigners, a communication source for groups and associations, and a precious resource for researchers and journalists.

Every year the world-renowned Housmans Peace Diary is published, which is a shorter version of the database.

The edition of this year - the 61st edition - includes a World Peace Directory listing 1500 international peace, environment and human rights organisations from around the world. This year's special feature looks at the 100th anniversary of the First World War, but from a rather different perspective than that of the official commemorations. In fact, the feature to the 2014 Peace Diary is an anti-militarist history of the Great War, concentrating not on the military glories, nor on the military horrors, but rather focusing on the history of those who opposed that War, on the efforts of the peace movement to stop the war. Some anti-militarist organizations have their roots in those initiatives.

We are proud to be part of the Housmans World Peace Database. Our presence in the database and in the Housmans Peace Diary is extremely important because it shows how the effort we put in all our initiatives in order to build a world strongly based on justice and legality is increasingly recognized at national but also international level.
