OUR WORK:
Back in October we signed a UFPJ petition, which addresses our government's attempt to curb our rights to protest in Washington, DC as we know it. The proposed rule making would burden and restrict access to public spaces for constitutionally restricted First Amendment activities in DC and would fundamentally undermine democratic freedoms.

Some of our members have been approached by George Edwards a law professor at Indiana University regarding the upcoming publication of a Guantánamo Reader. Stay tuned.

On November 9, PTers came together at the 30th Boston Jewish Film Festival in Brookline, MA for a screening of In Our Son's Name. The film remains an effective way to spread our message as well as a vehicle to bring PTers together and continues to attract new audiences.

GUANTANAMO COMMITTEE:
More Military Commission Pretrial Hearings
are scheduled for January 28 - February 1, 2019. If you are interested in attending a hearing at Guantánamo as the PT observer, please contact .

OUR ALLIES:

From left to right: Fr. Michael McGarry, Director of the Paulist Center: Colleen Kelly; Vincent Rocchio; Susan Rutkowksi, Pastoral Minister at the Paulist Center.

On November 17, Colleen Kelly, received the Isaac Hecker Award at the Paulist Center in Boston. CLICK HERE for more details.

WELCOME to the Steering Committee!
Dianne Hudder joined the PT Steering Committee in November. We look forward to the journey ahead with a new SC member on board.
