Mel Duncan, Nonviolent Peaceforce Co-Founder, Testifies in Congress. You Can Livestream Today.

Protection can be provided to more vulnerable people who can stay safe at home, not become displaced, and build sustainable peace.

Today at 10 AM EST, you can livestream Mel's testimony here before the House Committee on Appropriations, Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs on the effectiveness of Unarmed Civilian Protection.

If you missed seeing him live, you can read his testimony here.

You can be a part of this, too. Here's what you can do:

Ask your representative to specifically include financial support for Unarmed Civilian Protection in the State Foreign Operations, and Related Programs appropriations bill fiscal year 2020. Find your representative here

We are tracking responses, so please email Nathan at  with the response you receive.

Together, we can advocate for peaceful solutions to conflict.

He is now back in San Francisco with a "stronger and larger heart for people and determined to stop the madness of U.S. policies in Iran." You don't want to miss the oped he penned from his hospital room in Tehran.
